Wannon Water is seeking a suitably skilled and experienced person for the full time position of Workplace Health & Safety Officer based in the Warrnambool office.
This role will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Wannon Water’s health and wellbeing program ,safety management system and initiatives which align with the organisational OH&S strategy and relevant OH&S legislation.
Applicants will need to demonstrate and possess the following attributes:
Demonstrated experience in the application OH&S in the workplace
Understanding of OH&S accreditation systems such as AS/NZS 4801or Safety Map
Familiarity with workplace health & wellbeing programs
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Can work effectively in a team environment
Well developed skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
Have completed or are working towards qualifications in OH&S
The position has a salary range of $62,742 to $68,216 (Band 6) p.a. plus superannuation depending on qualifications and experience.
