Work activities made officer susceptible to rugby injury

The shoulder injuries sustained by a police officer in a non-work-related rugby game would not have occurred but for decades of heavy police work, which included acting as the assailant in use-of-force training and swinging a sledgehammer in his special operations role, a tribunal has found.
