Worker and employer awarded $1.4m after chair collapse

A chair wholesaler has been ordered to pay more than $930,000 to an injured worker, whose chair collapsed beneath her, and $442,000 to her employer to cover its workers' comp bill.

New on-the-spot safety fines to deter "crafty" PCBUs
