WorkCover NSW should hold tardy insurers to account and restore injured workers' access to medical aids and other benefits for life, while lawyers should be paid for their involvement in work capacity reviews, a parliamentary inquiry has found.

Surprise WorkCover premium cuts anger Govt opponents

The NSW Government surprised employers with further workers' comp premium cuts in its budget yesterday, but the Greens and unions say WorkCover's surplus should be used to support amputees and others whose benefits were "stripped" by the 2012 scheme overhaul.
