OHS Alert subscription terms of use

Payment and pricing

Prices on the OHS Alert website are in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated.

All invoices must be paid by the due date specified by OHS Alert. Should debt collection or legal action be required to collect payment any costs incurred will be passed on to the subscriber's organisation.

Payments for subscriptions are non-refundable and non-transferrable, and cannot be exchanged for credit.

OHS Alert reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate service at any time.

Single-user subscriptions

Single-user subscriptions are for use by only one person and are not to be shared, reproduced or redistributed.

Subscriptions can be transferred, on request, to another person working for the subscribed organisation.

Multi-person and corporate pricing

Our discounted multi-user subscription rates can be used by individual businesses, charities, agencies and statutory authorities to provide access for their direct employees. Accounts must be billed to a central contact (no split billing). All users must work under the same business name, and use the same email domain (eg @ohsalert.com.au). It is not permissible to add clients, service providers, members, affiliates, or users working for subsidiary and sister organisations, or to group-buy between separate businesses/operators.

Subscriptions can be transferred, on request, to another person employed by the subscribed organisation.

Copyright

All OHS Alert content is protected by copyright and other laws. If you copy, reproduce, republish or share any of our content without express permission from OHS Alert's managing editor you are breaching our terms of use, so please check with us first.

Contact us to make a request.

OHS Alert reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate subscriptions, feeds, or other agreements at any time, without liability.

Fair usage of your OHS Alert subscription

Do not forward or share OHS Alert login details or email alerts.

Forwarding a OHS Alert email alert jeopardises the security of your subscription details, including contact information, passwords, invoicing and subscription history and permissions, while also breaching our copyright.

Our fair usage policy makes generous allowances for occasional sharing within your organisation (see fair usage policy below), however sharing our content with external organisations (including clients, service providers, and subsidiary organisations) is strictly prohibited.

Fair usage policy

The OHS Alert fair usage policy is designed to ensure subscribers are aware of how they can share the information we publish.

We understand that there are occasions when you want to share a particular article with others.

We think it's important for you to be able to do this, but please follow the rules below. Doing so will ensure you don't breach copyright law, or hinder our ability to provide the best, most affordable service we can for our subscribers.

Under our fair usage policy:

  • Subscribers can print paper copies of any article published by OHS Alert for distribution and/or display within the subscribing organisation only (this does not include subsidiaries or clients).

Printed articles must not be altered in any way and should clearly display the OHS Alert logo. Click the printer icon at the top or bottom of any article to print a page that is appropriate for display.

Examples of distribution permitted under the policy include sharing printed articles among management, displaying them in a reception area, or posting them on a noticeboard.

  • Subscribers can obtain permission to reproduce OHS Alert articles in internal publications or with external parties. Certain conditions apply – please contact us with requests.

Subscribers are not permitted to:

  • Forward any email update from OHS Alert – this is a breach of our copyright. (Forwarding our emails also compromises the security of your account and can block your access to the site.)

    • Make or distribute web copies of articles published by OHS Alert.

    • Share subscription login details.

If you have any questions about this policy or OHS Alert, please contact us on +61 2 9267 3800 or email subs@ohsalert.com.au.
