Safe Work Australia has urged all OHS professionals to play their part in reducing the mining sector's high injury rate by providing feedback on mine-specific harmonised safety laws. Also in this article, the Western Australian Opposition has claimed that a shortage of mine-safety inspectors is putting workers at risk.
