Worker with mesothelioma awarded record $1.3m, six months to live
A former labourer who was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma and has only six months to live has been awarded a record $1.3m in damages, after the NSW Dust Diseases Tribunal found he lost his capacity to care for his family in the future.
