Labor supports Safe Rates, Coalition revisits shaky report
The Federal Opposition has confirmed that it is considering a Safe Rates-style regime for the heavy vehicle sector, while the Government has, in a surprise move, referred to a widely-panned report in claiming the previous regime pushed thousands of owner-drivers to the "brink of collapse".
