AAT finds alternative therapy was compensable

The Administrative Appeals Tribunal has found that the "Feldenkrais method" of therapeutic treatment constitutes medical treatment for compensation purposes, in overturning a decision by Comcare not to compensate an injured worker for her expenses.

Big employers failing to act on known hazards

In recent Victorian OHS prosecutions, two major Australian employers have been fined a combined total of $150,000 after failing to address hazards that resulted in permanent injuries.
